The Jamaica Constabulary Force High Command is reporting that an M16 Riffle was recovered at the scene of crime in Horizon Park, St. Catherine this morning.
The weapon was recovered after a search of the area following the shooting death of two police officers and injuring of 3 others. More information will be provided in subsequent report.
According to reports by the Jamaica Observer , communication from Police personnel, said they were uncertain as to whether the criminal/s involved had sustained any injuries, but said forensics would be used to determine same based on blood trails discovered at the scene.
