The police have confirmed that the body of a woman found stuffed in a barrel in Ramble, St Thomas is that of the female Burger King employee who was reported missing last week.
She’s 23-year-old Nile Brown of a Denham Town, Kingston address.
The police believe she was strangled elsewhere, then her body was placed in the barrel and dumped into a gully in Ramble.
Reports were that about mid-day on Sunday, residents detected a foul odor in the Ramble area, near a bridge.
The police were summoned and the body was found with the hands and feet bound.
