Students and staff at the Mona High School as well as family members are in mourning today.
This after second form student Darnell Foster, who collapsed in Half-Way Tree died after being rushed to the hospital.
The Education Ministry said that its Trauma Response team has been dispatched to the school where grief counselling is being offered to staff and students.
Minister of Education Ruel Reid, who is currently who is currently in the United Kingdom participating in an Education Forum, has expressed condolences to the family, and will visit the school on Thursday morning on his return to the island.
