Soldier Murdered In Rock River, Clarendon

The Jamaica Defence Force is this morning mourning the loss of one of their colleague.

31-year-old soldier Lance Corporal Michael Fraser was shot dead near his home in Rock River, Clarendon around 8:30 last night.

It is reported that he was shot in the head.

Investigators say it appears that the soldier may have been attacked by two men.

Police investigators have launched a high-level investigation into the murder.
